From anticipating the many needs of running a real estate office to doing a whole lot of number crunching, I help keep our operation running smoothly, always trying to provide the best service to our brokers. Not only do I offer 24/7 support to our Designated Broker (who happens to be my husband), but I also manage all aspects of our busy accounting department. We happily pay out millions of dollars in agent commissions each year!

I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. I passed the CPA exam, worked at a public accounting firm for a short time, and then moved on to 33 years in the real estate industry. I sold real estate for 21+ of those years until I married John, and because of my background, he asked if I would oversee the accounting department for a few months. Well, that was 12 years ago, and it has become my full-time job.

Prior to real estate, I had many diverse jobs that included working in a garden center/nursery which also housed a gift shop, floral department and pet store, giving me quite a wide range of experiences! I was also a receptionist and office clerk for Mack Trucks and a sales rep for L’eggs pantyhose. This background has provided me with an excellent foundation for the variety of tasks necessary to make a real estate company work well, from people skills and business operation to striving to maintain a profitable company, even in the most difficult of times.

My husband and I love to travel and you would likely find us visiting an animal park, bird-watching, sauntering through a botanical garden or touring historical homes, even in our free time! I enjoy art, music and dance, games of any kind, and I love to play golf when I have the time. I’m rather adventurous and will try most things at least once, except for skydiving or eating sea urchin sushi!
